What a great day, after a great week...

I bought my congas!!!!! I am so excited! They are absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to learn to play them properly. I will pretty soon, but right now, they sure are fun to bang on...

THEN...I got my belly button pierced!!! I have wanted to do that for soooo long, and I finally got the courage and extra money to do it. It's really really cute! A little sore, but that's to be expected...she PUNCTURED ME.

It was funny though. The guy who seemed to technically be the receptionist (As my Mom called him... She came with me.) told me that he had to look at my belly button and "see if it was piercable."

I found this a little confusing, but whatever...Then he said I probably had a 50/50 shot at whether or not it was "piercable", and that he would have the actual piercist (sp?) come and take a look also...

I was completely confused by this point, and well, a little embarassed... So then the piercist came out and also inspected me, and told me that she didn't think I had the correct belly button type to do the piercing, but that she could do it anyway. She just couldn't guarantee it would heal...

So after all that i decided to go ahead and do it, even though for me $50 is a lot to spend if it doesn't work. But I have wanted to do this for so long, I couldn't just walk out of there because they told me my umbilical cord was tied wrong.

So, I am pierced. I feel like I joined a club or something. i feel so...I don't know...rebellious...daring, fun...it's great.

And my eyebrow is next...I think I'm addicted already...

And this past week I finished (COMPLETELY FINISHED) writing for my CD. All done. Yeah, i know, It's about time!! And I am finaly happy with all the songs and I think they have so much potential for all the guys to make them sound really good. I'm all ready. I just have to finish my little rough demo of me playing my guitar and singing into my radio, and give it to the guys and everybody, and try not to throw up thinking about the fact that they will eventually listen to it... :)

It feels so good to be done, finally, and now to just concentrate on all the

arranging and band stuff...I cannot wait!!! I get to go to the studio soon soon soon!!!!

And today.....amazing fun service

Abbey being there...so fun, so great, so needed. We had a great talk during second service...I love talking about religion with her, or Annie. They are so enlightened for being so young, and I really look up ot them as spiritual examples. I don't think they even realize it, but I do...They're so inspring...

Then I cam home and took a nap

A killer 3 1/2 hour nap...the best kind.

Then talked to John about the 7th, and great ideas, and we got so excited and got so many ideas. Key changes and dramas, and so much fun...The song we are gonna do is so powerful, I can't wait...It gave me chills all over my body listening to it today. I can't wait to hear John sing it...

And then an email from Dwayne. I'm gonna start drum lessons this Wednesday! YAY! I have been waiting to do that for a long time, and now I'm gonna really do it! The world needs more chick drummers...

So, I think that about covers it. A lot of cool things happened, and I am sure there are so many more to come. Life is just super when you know it can be. Which reminds me...
