My Dream Wedding...

I've been thinking about my wedding recently...

I don't know how far away it is, but it felt really good to think about it.

I want to get married barefoot. And I want my toenails done all pretty, and lot of jingle-y anklets on each foot, so I jingle when I walk.

I want mountains of flowers everywhere. But not roses. Just big fat lilies and lilacs.

And there will be so many flowers scattered on the walkway in that it will be thick, so we'll have to walk through them.

AND NO WEDDING MARCH. I hate the wedding march.

And i want my dress to be more like...i don't know...a nightgown or something. Strapless. Really flowing, and the bottom will be all different lengths, kinda messy. And then with a big long train in the back. I wanna look like...a fairy.

And I want my hair down. By then I'll want it pretty long, and with a princess curl in it. And red. It's gotta be red.

And I think I want it to be outside. In a huge open meadow. Right before sunset.

But maybe I want part of it inside, because I want the ceremony to open up with a great big gospel choir. Just singing for like an hour at the beginning of the service. That would be wonderful.

My colors will be something like red and orange. Like, the entire red family. Reds and oranges, peaches, yellows..It'll definitely have to be a summer wedding.

And I don't want him to have to wear a tuxedo. Just casual. A dress shirt and loose comfy pants. With his shirt untucked. I want him to be barefoot too.

And I don't want a big wedding ring, In fact, i want something very small. Maybe with the jewels set into the ring, not sticking up. Maybe with no jewel at all, just a silver band with an inscription. From him.

And i want us to say our own vows. I hate the traditional ones, they've been said too much already.

And I want my honeymoon to be somewhere like Puerto Rico or Hawaii, just because I have never been anywhere tropical like that. It would be wonderful to spend it with my new husband...
